I got to the National Portrait Gallery to see this year's BP portait awards; http://www.npg.org.uk/  The exhibition is well worth a look, as there is some stunning art work on display. Incredible attention to detail in the main which has to be admired, although I do prefer the more expressionist approach. I found it highly inspirational however and spent the day sketching my son.

I'm definitely on the look put for a good face to paint - haven't done a portrait for years!
