As I work so wet, often washing colours out under running water etc, I usually have another one on the go to keep me happy!
This is a twist on my recent still life series. I think I must have been influenced by my trip to Amsterdam - all those Dutch interiors - must go back soon!
I used quite a bit of vodka ON the paper here. It has the most wonderful effect on watercolour; repelling and pushing pigment away.
