Horse - watercolour

 

Watercolour horses are the order of the day!

 

Magnesium Brown, Venetian Red, Ultramarine Violet, Cobalt Turquoise, Yellow Ochre and Indigo were used here with a lots of water.

 

I wanted to get a feeling of great energy even though the horse is still. I worked very wet into wet therefore and began with a limited sketch. I like to allow the paint to find it's path - with a little coaxing from time to time.
